Famaliens is a series of ten paintings made for my Senior Thesis show. It explores my fascination into otherworldliness and also my relationships with my family members. The pieces are made from unprimed canvas that have been rusted and painted in acrylic and oils. I’ve also included encaustic monotypes and sowing. Each of the frames were also handmade.
